I was so excited to finally have a new book from Lauren. She is absolutely my favorite author. This book does not disappoint. I laughed, cried, and laughed again. You will fall in love with Katherine and Tom. Sometimes I feel like the heroines of romance are a little naive, out of touch with reality and feels like the books had to be written by a sexist man instead of a pro women romance author. Katherine is the absolutely the opposite of this and the perfect character. She was so real, so genuine and relatable. She felt like my best friend. The whole book was completely refreshing!! I finished this book in two days, and that's only because I had to force myself to put it down to go to sleep—WAY past my bed time, might I add. Christmas happens to be my favorite holiday, so it was easy to get lost in the story. There were so many twists and turns throughout this novel, and each of them had me on my toes. The ending was as expected, but in a good way. I would love to watch this as a Christmas Hallmark movie!
